As a mom with high risk kids I would be lying if I said I wasn’t concerned. I would also be lying if I said fear hadn’t crept in at times. My mind tries to convince me to withdraw; to gather up and shut off all access to the outside world.
But then what would that say about my faith? About where I place my trust? About my belief that God is bigger than all of this? The Coronavirus didn’t take him by surprise like it has most of us. And He is still firmly in control.
So instead of focusing on all the chaos, let’s focus on TRUTH:
? That our prayers have power. (Mark 11:24)
? That God hears us. (1 John 5:15)
? That He already has the answer to every question we have. (Matt 6:8)
? That He has a plan even if we don’t know what it is. (Jeremiah 29:11)
? That He is our Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6)
? That He is with us. That he will strengthen us and help us. (Isaiah 41:10)
We all have weak moments. But that’s where God shows his power…in our weakness. (2 Cor 12:9)
So let’s stand firm on the truth, let’s keep our eyes on Jesus and remember that no matter the circumstances we face, this battle has already been won ♥️
