The Fullness of Jesus Fills Everything in Every Way

Happy Thankful Thursday!

I got to have the best conversation with my sister-in-law on Monday afternoon.  I love when God speaks words out of our mouths to others...that were really intended for ourselves.  Has this ever happened to you?

I found myself talking Monday and saying things that I desperately needed to hear.

"When life is hard, we must continue to focus on the Good. We must remain thankful for ALL Jesus has done, is doing, and is working out on our behalf.  Even when we can't see it, He is working for our good."

I believe these words with everything that I have in me, but I still needed reminded of them and maybe you do too.  No matter how we might feel in the moment, God is still who He says He is:

Youre still my God

~ He is our hope

~ He is our strength

~ He is our peace

~He is our help

~He is our joy

Instead of magnifying the pain, the hurt, the hard...let's magnify God. Let's lift our hands in praise and release all that we are holding onto to Him.  Only He can bind up the brokenhearted and bring us gladness instead of mourning.  (Isaiah 61:1&3)

I will praise you forever for what you have done; in your name I will find hope, for your name is good.  I will praise you in the presence of your saints.

Psalm 52:9 NIV

I'm thankful that God is the same yesterday, today and forever.

I'm thankful that He is strong when I am weak.

I'm thankful that He promises to be our hope.

I am thankful for family to lean on when hard times come.

I am thankful that Jesus is the light that shines in the darkness and that the darkness has not overcome it.

What Are You Thankful For?

It amazes me sometimes that we "know" that God is working for our good, but it's like we forget it in the midst of our pain.  We magnify all that is wrong instead of all that is right.

I want to encourage you today to magnify Jesus.  To lift Him higher than your hurts and your pain.  To lift Him higher than the battle you are facing.  He is walking through the battle with you.

The fullness of Jesus fills everything in every way

With love,
