I pray that you are having a wonderful week ~
As I sat down to write a few things out that I was thankful for this week, I paused. Honestly the cold, windy weather has had me in a grumpy mood, and I hadn’t put much thought into being thankful. That is why I am so “thankful” to be reminded through God’s word to “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18
There is no better way for me to turn my mood around than to get some worship music going!!
I grabbed my phone and clicked the worship station on my Apple music app and began to wash some dishes. As I was standing at my kitchen sink, the sun came out from behind the clouds and so brilliantly shined against my face. With hands raised I worshiped God. Thankfulness flooded my heart for all He is, all He is doing, and all He has already done.
When we pause in the middle of a tough week and remember to be thankful, it can turn our week around! I pray that you pause today and write down a few things that you are thankful for. You’ll be glad you did!
