As we continue our acts of kindness on this cold, wintery, snowy day what a better way to start off the week than to buy a friend a nice warm cup of coffee?!
We have an amazing little coffee shop here in Kersey that is encouraging customers to participate in “pay it forward”. Not only do you have an opportunity to receive a free cup of coffee, if you were to be so fortunate, but you also have an opportunity to do a fun act of kindness for someone else!
This act of kindness is nothing new…it is the simple kingdom principle of giving and receiving. Not only does the person on the receiving end get the gift but it also makes them feel loved. And the person doing the giving experiences a sense of purpose and joy through the act of giving.
What would it be like if we could get more and more people focused on simple acts of kindness in their everyday lives? We would see more and more thankful hearts.
What a simple way to reflect Jesus to those around us today.
