Living This Life on Purpose for His Purpose
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you.
Psalm 32:8 NIV
Hello!
It has been amazing to take a break, to be still and spend some much-needed time with God pressing into what He has been speaking to me. There is nothing like the refreshment that God can bring to our souls…
But I am also so excited to be back to writing and look forward to what the Father is doing in 2020.
My “word” for the year is intentional. I want to be more intentional with my time, my gifts, my desires and my love. This is something that the Father has spoken over and over to my heart.
“Be more intentional”
I will not speak for any of you, but I know that I can get bogged down by all the responsibilities that come with being a wife, a mom, a daughter, a sister, a co-worker and friend. I am a “doer” by nature and without even knowing I dive headfirst into busyness until it overruns me, and I hit burnout. That is exactly where I was at the end of 2019. Burned out.
But God…
He is so faithful. And I am so thankful that He never hits burnout and He never let’s go of me. Anyone else thankful for that too today? He has this way of pulling us back in, pulling us into His arms and squeezes us until we know that it is all going to be okay.
Submitting to His call in my heart to be still has been monumental for me personally, for my relationship with Him and for my family.
I am going to dive in over the next few weeks and share more about “living intentionally”. I have learned so much and can’t wait to share it with you.
We only have one life, we should live it well.
With love,
Tana
