Giving Thanks
It is good to give thanks to the LORD, to sing praises to the Most High. It is good to proclaim your unfailing love in the morning, your faithfulness in the evening.

It Is Good to Give Thanks
It is good to give thanks to the LORD, to sing praises to the Most High.
What is it about worship that can break our hearts wide open? I have always loved music and I especially love some good worship music. It's as if I can't keep my hands or my feet still as I sing out loud to the LORD. It is that true heart connection that happens when we open up and let Him fill us up as we surrender.
Surrender can be so hard...but there isn't anything that feels better than the peace that washes over us when we do. If you are holding on tight to stress, anxiety, exhaustion, depression, fear or any other stronghold today I want to encourage you to worship. Open your heart and your mind to release what is weighing you down.
It Is Good To Proclaim Your Unfailing Love
God doesn't just love us with a perfect love, but God is love. (1 John 4:8) That is why it is good to proclaim His unfailing love...because it WILL NEVER fail.
Relationships fail, friends and family can hurt us, but the love of God will never fail.
Moses wrote in Deuteronomy 7:9: Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.
When we worship, we affirm the unfailing love the Father has put inside of us back to him.
God is Faithful
The very end of this verse says to proclaim his faithfulness in the evening. I believe it says to proclaim his faithfulness in the evening because we can look back over the day and see God with us. Some moments are great, some are hard and there are lots in between, but if we look closely we will see God was with us every step of the way.
God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 Corinthians 1:9 NIV
