When I originally had this idea about doing intentional acts of kindness, I had thought about all the people outside of the walls of my home. But today, I had an intentional day with my boys…and it was amazing!
I took some time today and spent it intentionally with each boy, shopping for the others birthday present. Their birthday is coming up on Tuesday and they had not yet bought for one another.
Today I wanted to show them how to do an intentional act of kindness.
Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it. Proverbs 22:6 NIV
I can’t think of a better place to instill acts of kindness then in our children. They are our future.
