I want to live this life on purpose for His purpose. ~ Tana Johnston
This past fall I felt God speaking to my heart saying, “Be still dear one. Quiet your heart and your mind. Seek me and I will make known to you the path of life.”
I felt his urge a few different times during the last few months as I rushed from one thing to another, never slowing down long enough to obey Him.
When we begin to root our identity in Jesus…
Our prayer for you this Christmas is that you have opened your heart to the One who came to be the Savior of the world. That you let His never-ending, unconditional, relentless love invade your every fiber as you celebrate today.
Jesus can come into our hearts and meet every single need that we have. He is our everything and he gave everything of himself for us.
Christmas isn’t just about a day, it’s not just about the gifts, it’s not just about the food and the goodies. It is about a promise. The promise of the gift is love…Love with us, God with us.
How often do we feel completely overwhelmed when life happens not as we have expected? We tend to carry this picture in our minds of what we think life should look like and where we are headed. But when the unexpected happens, how do we respond?
There are going to be seasons in our lives that we find ourselves right in the middle of desolation, pain and darkness that overwhelms. We might feel isolated and lonely in our pain but remember that the Father sees us and he hears our cry for help.
The obedience of this one man changed the course of history for all of us. He was willing to go into the unknown and trust God for what he couldn’t see.
When we choose to walk in the Spirit, we choose to love others well, and when we love others well all other characteristics of the Spirit will overflow.
