I believe that love is one of our greatest adventures. It’s the giving away of ourselves, down to the very core, including every single vulnerability that we have. It’s allowing someone access to the deepest parts of us and trusting them with it. It’s not holding back but letting go. It’s fully, freely, and completely opening our hearts. It can be one of the scariest things we do but also one of the most profound.
It’s hard to love God and love others when our hearts and our eyes are seeking other things first…
Have you ever gotten things so twisted up and turned around in your mind that you aren’t even sure what you are doing anymore? You aren’t sure what your purpose is or if the current path you are on is even the right one? You aren’t alone.
Today is the National Day of Prayer. This is a special day that has been set apart for us, the people, to come together in unity and lift our voices to the Father. I encourage you to pray today for the world, our country, our leaders, the people, our families, the church and everything that is on your heart.
The journey of the seed is not that different from our own…
I am so thankful today that we have a God bigger than our circumstances. Bigger than our hard days. Bigger than all our fears.
Cast all your anxiety of him because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7
My emotions have been all over the place the last seven weeks, much like anyone else’s I presume. I have gone from the onset of fear, to grateful for the home time, to restless, to sort of blah when the cold weather hit, to flat over it. Can you relate?
It is good to give thanks to the LORD, to sing praises to the Most High. Psalm 92:1
Have you struggled to have joy in this season? Have you struggled to see the beauty around you?
You are not alone…
Have you ever thought, “I wasn’t made for this.”
